There was some rust damage around most of the body mounts on Skip's '67 Chevelle. We cut properly sized rings on the CNC table, tacked in metal pieces to locate a hole saw, cut the holes and then welded in the new rings. One more step complete!

John brought us his '35 Ford cab to get the metalwork back on track. There were some repairs on the rear of the cab that needed to be redone. We wheeled out a new rear panel and blended it into the rest after spending lots of time planishing, shrinking and stretching until the shapes flowed correctly.

The doors needed new lower skins put on some dents planished out and the gaps improved a little.

We also put in a new cowl vent and fixed up some other braces inside the cab.

Once our metalwork was complete we prepped it and sprayed a high-solids epoxy primer to provide a perfect substrate for John's paint shop to build on.

Rob's Chevy Biscayne came in for some extensive metalwork. To give us a true platform to build on, we first straightened his modified frame and welded it directly to our frame table. After cleaning up all the panel mating surfaces and rebuilding the lower hinge pillars, we put in the front floor with attached inner rocker panels. Then the outer rockers were installed. Moving rearward we stripped off the old quarters, wheelhouses and the complete rear floor. Reversing the process, we welded in the new rear floor and tubs then began fitting the Impala-spec quarter panels. The Biscayne C pillars are different so we fabricated transition pieces to make the Impala sheetmetal work. The original taillight panel joins the new quarters, floor and replacement trunk. The trunk was gapped and adjusted to fit. Both doors required bottom patches and we modified Impala outer skins to fit the Biscayne shell. The right rear C pillar rain gutter was full of holes so a new one was fabricated and welded in place. The cowl received several small patches on the top and completely new outer sides. To wrap it up we fabricated an ultra clean firewall to help Rob showcase his engine. This is more work than you might think!
