Our 1500 mile checkup on Skip's '67 Chevelle is complete. He's been shredding back roads, getting first place trophies and loving every minute of it. He loves this car but also has dreams of building an early Ford so he's entertaining offers on this Chevelle to fund the next build. This dentside F-150 build is coming together nicel

This dentside F-150 build is coming together nicely! We're using some of the best parts available along with our teams awesome fabrication and bodywork skills to build @markgrimmel a killer truck.
We've made custom mounts for the @american.autowire classic update wiring harness. The engine cooling is being handled by @wizardcooling. Following the horsepower - a @fordperformance Godzilla crate engine makes it, 6r80 deals it, @advanceadapters Atlas transfers case splits it and @actionmachineinc driveshafts send it out to the axles. To haul it all back to a controlled stop of course we're using our own F-Series iBooster firewall mount, our master cylinder adapter (complete kits sold @retrofit.innovations) and @littleshopmfg disc brake kits front and rear. Steering provided by @redheadsteeringgears.

Check out this cool '51 Chevy 3100 we finished recently for a local couple. We took this truck from an actual biohazard to a great summer cruiser.

First, we sourced a GM Goodwrench 292 that had been purchased in 1989, partially disassembled and put into storage (thanks for the hand @peterpiperglass). That was mated to a @tremecperformance TKX 5 speed, a custom driveshaft from @actionmachineinc and a stock rear axle for a '66 C-10 with fresh brakes and e-brake cables.

The entire truck was pressure washed (thanks to @thomasmillller for doing the first, terrible day of it) soaked, washed again and rewashed multiple times. We went through many gallons of bleach, purple power, hydrogen peroxide and diesel for the pressure washer. Eventually we had a vehicle that didn't smell, even sitting in the hot sun.

The engine was dressed with a perfectly sized @holleyperformance 390 sitting on an @offenhauserco intake with modified Fenton style exhaust manifolds. A mechanical fan, a Napa alternator and an HEI distributor keep it all running smoothly. We fabricated a stainless steel Y pipe and hard lines on the engine too.

Every electrical item (except the dash fan and OE horn) was removed and replaced. We used a Classic Update kit from @american.autowire and gauges from @classic_instruments .

The front end got some normal service parts along with a power disc brake system to add some driver confidence.

We touched up some interior parts, a new seat cover, oak bedwood, exterior light housings, Holley Retrobrite headlights and LED rear bulbs behind the red glass lenses.

This classic truck has much more power now and is really fun to drive. It's not fancy but it's functional and didn't break the bank, which was a big part of this project.

The F150 and the green Chevelle also have our firewall brackets for a bolt-on install. You can buy any of the adapters in bare steel through us or if you're in the market for a complete kit with powdercoated parts, boosters, wiring and pushrods @retrofit.innovations has you covered with everything you'll need.
